How to join

Louth Golf Club has a very active membership of about 550 members. Our men’s, ladies, senior and junior sections offer a full competition fixtures schedule aimed at players of all standards.

In addition to the competitions we have several teams representing Louth Golf Club, A team (scratch league), B team (handicap league), Ladies, Rabbits, Seniors and Juniors.

For the less competitive of you the men and ladies section run several friendly and mixed matches each year, and a with a full social calendar too, there is something for everyone at Louth Golf Club.

We are currently running two offers, a Trial Membership for all you golfers interested in becoming a member of a club, and Academy Membership to introduce beginners to golf. For more details and application form please click on the Trial pdf below..

Subscriptions are open to both male and females, and with no joining fee there has never been a better time to join Louth Golf Club. Back in 1992 the members bought Louth Golf Club funded by a share issue. As such we now have two membership categories, shareholder and associate, with subscriptions given below. Our subscription year begins on the 1^st May and the figures quoted are for a full year but will be adjusted accordingly.

Cadet Membership 22 - 30

Louth Golf Club is keen to appeal to a younger membership and promote golf for the next generation. Cadet membership is open to males and females, and applies whether you have been a junior member or not.

Juniors and Students (Up to 21 years)

Louth Golf Club has an active junior section and are always keen to attract and encourage new junior members. The annual fee includes a coaching programme on a Saturday morning through the summer months with one of our Professionals. Once a CONGU handicap has been achieved, you will have full playing rights and access to all the fixtures. Juniors with out a full handicap are slightly restricted at weekends. Juniors are actively encouraged with several of our current juniors members of the A Team.
