It’s Easy to Play at Louth Golf Club!

With increasing emphasis nationally on participation in sport, Sport England in harness  with  Local Authorities and the Sports’ Governing bodies are looking to offer increased  opportunities in a wide variety of sports.

In order to encourage golfers of all generations, Louth Golf Club has launched some new membership and tuition packages with the help of sponsorship from the English Golf Union and East Lindsey District Council.

The new packages are aimed at enabling all age groups to sample golf (at a low cost) and then hopefully join the Club.   The tuition packages make getting started in golf easier for both adult and junior beginners as they offer a series of 8 one-hour weekly lessons, taught by the Louth Golf Club Professional Nick Taylor, for a cost of just £10 for the 8 lessons.  Starting dates for lessons in 2007 will be announced shortly..

In addition to the lessons, Louth Golf Club will continue to offer the “Golf Starter Membership” pack, which is designed for those who wish to sample golf at the Club.  The membership offers 2 options, both of which include full use of the Club’s practice facilities and social membership to the Club’s bar, restaurant and social functions. 

Both options cost £130 for membership to the Club and include either 10 rounds of golf or 8 rounds of golf (or multiples of 9 holes, if preferred) plus 2 individual lessons.  The free loan of golf clubs is included in this membership package, making it the ideal way to put into practice what has been learnt during golf lessons.  And, for both beginners and experienced golfers, if they choose to then join the Club, part of the fee will be put towards a full years membership.
